Chinese companies, at least for American State, do not have much confidence. So far a number of issues have arisen between the two parties, mostly related to the fear that a Chinese company would spy on Americans.

Reuters sources have learned that the US Department of Commerce will impose severe sanctions, such ZTE seeing himself in the position of not being able to buy or import from US suppliers.

Starting March 8, these companies will be required to obtain export licenses to deliver any by ZTE and these licenses are "generally refused".

The move appears to be intended as punishment for breaking the rules of export by sending technological products of American origin to Iran, helping deliberately Iran to bypass the embargo on US products, as was discovered in 2012 following the publication of the transaction documents. It seems that the United States has not rushed to retaliate.

ZTE have already declared that they will slow down operations in Iran to avoid trouble. It's easy to assume that these export restrictions can hit ZTE serious business, especially young business mobile devices.

US partners include the firm's biggest names such as Intel and Microsoft - so that in the event that getting the key products from American companies is not possible, ZTE will be forced to find alternatives. Although this does not necessarily mean that ZTE products will disappear from store shelves might get there.
