Honor V9/8 Pro

After the launching of the new P10 at Mobile World Congress 2017, Huawei continued with the series of launches of Honor V9, which most likely will be released under the name Honor 8 Pro West. The phone has already been released in China, a week before the P10 and it seems that a new launch event will be organized to debut in Europe and the United States.

 

 

While we do not know for sure whether branding V9 from China will be retained or will be chosen name Honor 8 Pro, to suggest that it is a more advanced version of the flagship's last year, we know that we will receive these details April 5, 2017. Too many new details about this model will not find probably because the phone is already on sale in China, the only differences that may arise is if the configuration of RAM and storage space.

 

In China, Honor V9 comes with a display of 5.7 "QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), Kirin 960 chipset (the same from Huawei Mate P10 and 9), 4,000 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and configurations 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Pre-installs the operating system in China is EMUI 5.0 (not the new 5.1, launched by P10), which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Photo assembly dual-camera on the back is also equipped with two sensors 12 megapixels (probably same from Huawei P9), but do not benefit from Leica branding Summation / SUMMILUX.

 

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Honor V9 / 8 Pro will be the price. Given that China base model with 4GB RAM costs about 375 dollars, and the 6 GB RAM reach 435 dollars, we may see similar prices in the West. Given the price difference habitual between China and the West, we can expect 399 dollars / euros for the base model and 449 euros for the top, good prices given the new P10, which starts at 649 euros version display of 5.1 "and comes equipped with similar hardware.
